JavaScript Job: Frontend UI Developer

We are looking for a talented, creative, and team-oriented Frontend Developer who has the desire to make modern and intuitive UI for our web-based applications. Your primary focus will be developing a new product module with other developers. You will be part of a team who is responsible for building a robust and rich front-end UI that our customers are using on a daily basis. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, elegant and extensible design and quality products is imperative.

The Role:

• Translating Figma design documents into UI components
• Building consistent UI using our internal UI library
• Being able to understand and write clean Javascript / React code
• Collaborating with our senior developers to enhance our internal UI library
• Learning and becoming familiar with Apollo GraphQL

Key for success:

• Minimum 2 years of front-end software development experience
• Have hand-coded HTML / CSS in a commercial environment
• Experience with several programming languages/frameworks such as Javascript, ReactJS and GraphQL
• Past experience in applying technical knowledge and expertise to help the team overcome challenging or complex software problems
• Experience in working with remote team members
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bonus points for experience in (or being eager to learn):

• UI design using Figma or similar tools
• BEM and Atomic CSS
• Ruby on Rails
